"So rude, so dismissive. We''ve been loyal customers with Matt for many years, and we missed a payment by 17 days. My wife spoke to a new agent, was put on hold, cut off twice. When she called back, she was put on hold again! After asking him to call her back with a quote, she was told that it would be very expensive and that she should just "Go to Geico, as they have great rates at the moment." Spoke to Vicki, who was very noncommittal, and didn't seem to mind that I was told to go to Geico. After 20 years of no claims, and driving fewer than 5,000 miles per year, and having no tickets or driving infractions, we were tossed to the wayside. Disgusting!"

We recognize that the window of 45 days can seem draconian; however, we have no control on what underwriting allows us to do on these cases. This nonpayment cancellation generally causes the new application premiums to be different. I really wish we could have saved your policies and restored your original premiums. "

"Edit 11-22-24: The agency lied to me about my policy and only refunded my money after I filed a lawsuit. Avoid this place. --- This agency exemplifies everything wrong with the insurance industry. They are manipulative, deceitful, and operate in bad faith. Their communication is misleading at best and outright dishonest at worst, designed to confuse and take advantage of their customers. When confronted with their own mistakes, they dismiss concerns with sarcasm and indifference rather than taking responsibility. To anyone reading this and considering doing business here: run the other way. And to those leaving similar 1-star reviews, I strongly encourage you to file a claim in small claims court. It’s the ONLY way to get the attention of State Farm Corporate and force accountability from this agency. They clearly won’t do the right thing unless legal action compels them to. State Farm markets itself as a “good neighbor,” but this agency is anything but. Save yourself the stress and find a more ethical and trustworthy provider."

"UPDATE 10/15/24 : This is still not resolved and now this State Farm office is no longer responding to my emails. I finally got State Farm to stop payment on the last check sent to the former lender only to be told I had to give it 3 weeks to receive a re-issued check that they were somehow able to send back and forth nearly weekly to the lender (but I have to wait 3 weeks). This office could have called to try and make things right and advocate for the refund to be issued or expedited but nothing. I would recommend NOT using State Farm and specifically this location. Poor customer service, did not help make a difficult and stressful situation right. I gave several weeks notice, and a forwarding address, that I was selling my home and cancelling my policy, State Farm still took money from my escrow account for homeowner's insurance before closing and weeks before the renewal date. I was told after the policy cancels I would get a full refund from State Farm. Never happened. They sent the funds to the lender after the house was sold and the loan paid off. 4 weeks later I call and find out State Farm and Cornerstone lending have been mailing the check back and forth to each other instead of to me. I never received any communication from State Farm. I reached out via email to my former agent and it was ignored. I was told they wouldn't normally call. Now I'm still trying to get MY escrow funds from State Farm."
"I do apologize for this inconvenience Cary. I looked at our notes and our team followed your instructions as requested. The issue with the escrow and your policy getting paid has to do with the mortgage servicing department and the timing of your sale. I hate the fact that this happened and as a team we are discussing some strategies to possibly avoid this from happening in the future. A lot of times when someone has a closing real close to their renewals this issue can happen. Again, my deepest apologies and would be happy to have a meeting with you to discuss further."
